I think you should remove the semicolon after the hex UNID value.

I give up! I got it working once, played through to heretic with god mode, decided to add extra code, failed, removed added code, and i am back to square zero. hope someone out there can fix it. Cheers,

the EASIEST thing to do: return to where you started. go back to the original .xml from Styro;
do not take anything out: simply put IN your additions: such as if you are adding a fighter to the Inventory : add it in.
make sure the starting entries include what you added <!ENTITY sc AddedShip " 0xOOpsey"> and load it after each item you add:
If there is a problem with the codes in any of the items you can quickly pull it back and and deal with it because its added one item at a time: "A" loads up: but with "B" it fails, so fix "B" until it works, etc. : THEN , once you got everything in: fly it, pull out everything in your new inventory one at a time and test each item in the version it is made for.
AFTER you do that: you can ask a more experienced Mod Creator on how to take it from there for sharing.

There is a Popular Mod that had a minor " issue" and another Creator adjusted that Mod......I have it in my toy box : it not only addressed the issue that it was repairing: it gave me double links in a dockscreen :) LOL

Yeah, you should start over... there are numerous formatting errors in the XML.
Next time around, try adding code slowly.

I have already tried both methods twice. Both duds, the one is giving me hell about trans. Extension closing line. With the other one. There is no difference. Ill upload it to paste bin later.

Chase, do not get discouraged!!!!! : LOng before I thought I was good enough to ask for my own Unid# ( and I know I am no where good enough to call myself a Mod Maker because alot of these people are Awesome) the thing is: My idea of Progress was Crashing the game on loading.

If every 2 seconds someplace in the world there is someone buying a Barbie Doll.....

for some reason it keeps on saying that that the last line of the transcendence code is not the same as the first one, tried to fix it, but it is giving me hassles. i posted it on xelerus.

loaded without error messages with the file I downloaded : game versions tried: 1.01,1.05,1.06D :: delete your save files or try a clean game in a separate folder ( I keep a " tt1" folder with a game just for testing : which can turn into hours of playing.." testing"..i mean....)

I loaded the game: I did not attempt to try anything yet.....but it loads and is flying : I see I am going to have to search this thing to figure out how it works......:)
Figured it out:) the ship carries data on wrecks: instead of setting it global or to a virtual station and the carry over crashes the saves.

( this is the same item of storing information that stops my Number6 from bounty hunting a player: it carries a code that it can not gate with for a new system, it ( the code info ) has to remain in the system: I was going to fix it but I figured it was fine since they don't gate in or out under the same Sovereign ID its not a problem )

ok. problem is i don't know how to fix that. is there a more experienced modder that can help me out by touching up a few bits and bobs on my code?
