:D
yup, that's right. 1 collimator gives you +75%, 2 gives you +150%, 3 gives you +225%.

I'm gonna keep my Omniturbolaser all the way to heretic. This, combined the various new omni weapons added in RC1, qualifies I think as fan service. I love it!

I wonder if that's intentional. Then perhaps the kinetic booster stacks too? x3 that would be fun.
My first mod, mostly done, still balance testing.

They use the same mechanism. All the enhancers stack, even the howitzer high speed loader. That one is bugged and can create negative firerates though.

And I assume a negative firerate crashes or ceases fire?

Maybe want to tweak those a bit...

*droooool*

Not much use on a wolfen, but I think I could squeeze out a device on my sapphire without too much grief. X-ray laser +300% here I come.
X-ray laser! Pew, pew pew!

Sorry, all! That was totally not intentional. Must be a bug in the new enhancement code.

can you make it be an attribute that says doesn't stack with itself?

It'd be nice to be able to enhance things other than weapons. Shields in particular need help the way they're balanced right now.

a thought I just had it would be cool if they could do more than one kind of enhancement at a time. For example +100% damage laser and -10% hp on shields.

The attribute enhancementType= controls stacking. enhancementType can be any arbitrary string. If two enhancing devices have the same string, then only one works (today it is arbitrary which will work).

E.g., if a device has enhancementType="SomeRandomString" then it will not stack with itself or with any other device that has the same enhancementType.

I've just made a change so that if you leave enhancementType blank, then it will stack with anything.

I think it would be nice if devices which claim to increase the speed of projectiles (cannon accelerator, "increases the velocity" of kinetics) actually increased the speed of the projectiles. Would be nice for improved accuracy.

8) Well said! (I would think they should take (1-spd)/invenhanceval+spd to determine the new projectile speed. (the higher invenhanceval is, the lower the speed boost)
