Am I the only one who liked the new story elements? The hints as to the nature of free will in a universe containing transcendent beings capable of affecting human minds weren't obvious enough, so I also considered the protagonist as fanatically religious. Actually, I preferred thinking of the prota...

Then why does the Commonwealth support you, even potentially with a Lamplighter? If the Iocrym are something fierce and threateing in the eyes of sane governments everywhere why are pilgrims of Domina permitted to pester them? Factions may reward or support you, when you are acting in their interes...

I'm guessing aimTolerance is the maximum angle (or a modifier to the maximum angle) at which an ai considers a target to be shootable. It seems to be used in spread or randomized-shot-angle configurations. To make a weapon with a targeting arc, maybe try the minFireArc and maxFireArc Weapon attribut...

Why would any of the factions consider it good strategy to make an enemy of the Iocrym? No one knows what's on the other side of the gate. All of them would deal with their immediate problems before engaging an advanced, powerful force of unknown size.

Update on the WINE: Don't know if this IS a Wine issue, but the gunfire sound only plays for about half the shots. Other than that, still no problems. It seemed like only the second instance of a sound effect would play, and only if it were immediately repeated. Using the native dsound library fixe...

Yes, some of the hard-coded effects are directional, but I just realized the problem with a directional effect based on an image: effects can get used by elements with different numbers of facings, so effects with a set number of facings could orient wrongly.

Directional fireEffect from image?

Is there a normal way for a weapon to be given a directional fireEffect created from an image?

bugs: ... Korolov: this one was already posted by wolfy somewhere: No binding for symbol: piratestatusleft ### (eq piratestatusleft 1) ### - this was shown to me when I saved charon-korolov, docked and asked for an escort mission ... This appears to be a typo in CharonFortress.xml, line 521: "pirat...
