You know what? Weapon shots affected by cannon accelerators should also have +50% projectile velocity.
It would be funny if you could stack them, but perhaps a bit broken.

Re: 1.9 Alpha 3
Looks good! I did run in to a game stopping bug in the second system. During a station defense mission, I docked with the station but was never shown the station screen. Instead I was pulled to a docking position and locked there. Hitting D locks out the controls and tries to dock, then hitting it a...

Re: Forum theme
XenForo allows users to select their own theme from a dropdown. Is there no option like that for phpBB? If possible I think the best approach would be installing a few theme options and letting the users choose. Either way, I would definitely prefer a forum theme that is light on dark rather than da...

Feature Request: Scroll Wheel Support in Station Menus
Since mouse support was added, I've found that I've switched to mouse and keyboard almost exclusively. It's perfect for most of the game, but when you get to a menu the habit is to scroll through it with the wheel and it's a bit jarring when it doesn't work. It'd be a nice quality of life feature if...

Re: 1.7 Alpha 1a Update
If it's workable I think one of the best ways to balance Omni weapons would to make them behave more like realistic turreted weapons. That is; they should have a finite tracking speed, and they should have blind arcs. That would help differentiate between the various omnis as well and possibly allow...

Re: Poll: Do you play with the soundtrack enabled?
Yes. On the whole it's quite good and fits very well. It sometimes gets a bit repetitive with constant battle music starting, but it's not that irritating. The worst part of the soundtrack is how it highlights how bad some of the other sound effects are that haven't been updated since .99 or so.

Re: 1.6.2 RC 2
I found a bug with the current build; the IMU stations will still ask for a membership fee upon landing even if they're currently destroyed. I'm assuming that there's a check for membership with the IMU that's done on landing with and IMU station that's superseding the if-then that checks whether th...

Re: 1.6 Released!
Starting a new playthrough with the HD pack. It looks great so far. I'm a bit set in my ways as far as my playstyle goes so I'm going to try different things this time and see what happens. If I had to level any criticisms I would say that the background could use a couple of parallax layers to add ...

Re: Constructive criticism: name one thing that annoys you m
I'll add another point. I like that the graphics are getting a pass at the moment, they needed a bit of updating. However, the one part of the game that's glaringly lacking at the moment is the sound and I don't think that's been touches since the game was first released. There's that single click s...

Re: Constructive criticism: name one thing that annoys you m
The only major irritation that's kept with me since I've started this game is loss of a promising game after a crash. I know myself that I didn't die, but it's still counted as a death, and that kills a good run. If this was changed, then for me at least it would help a lot.

Re: SHARE THE GAME , MAKE IT WORLDWIDE
I'd argue that at this point even if there is small scale piracy of the expansions, that would be outweighed both by the people gained from torrent sites who do buy them, and the increased word of mouth it could bring. If half of the people who download transcendence through a torrent pirate the exp...

Re: 1.3 RC 1
Found a bug: In St. Katherine's Star, I completed the Taikon mission but did not get the Galaxy Map. I took a Militia mission first, and then decided to take the university mission as well on the off chance that the targets were nearby each other. I finished the university mission and took the objec...

Re: 1.3 Beta 2
Would it be possible to bind a secondary set of maneuvering keys that turn at a half or quarter rate for fine aiming? It would make sense that a starship would be able to fire it's thrusters at less than full power, so I don't think that this would break gameplay or immersion. The main trouble I hav...

Re: How did you learn of Transcendence?
I was looking for something Escape Velocity like. I searched around for a while and found NAEV and Transcendence. A few others that I can't remember anymore as well, none that were all that memorable obviously.

Re: 1.1
Excellent! Also, congratulations! It's really come a long way since I started playing. The new resolution support is much appreciated, though on mine it's only doing a 1200x1200 square instead of using the full 1920x1200. I'm not sure if that's a bug or intended behaviour. Even without full widescre...
