Instead I'd make GDM & KDM themes, as well as icon sets for both Gnome & KDE, plus themes for other things like Thunderbird, Firefox, etc. That should teach you something. Gnome? Isn't that the really old game that is basically like Mech Warrior, only much, much older? Cause as I see it, there is o...

Yeah I've donated every effing penny I've made, heh. Any sort of 'good' goes to them as well, anything with that type of graphic. I have a bunch of slave coffins, I'll try those. Edit: Woot, got a couple extra abilities. Now, I just got the black market mission, and I forgot what it was. I was given...

Wondering about Domina :)
I'm a couple systems past Sanctuary now (for some reason Sanctuary seems like a pre-established system, much like Eridani or St. Katherine's Star), and I still haven't gained any extra abilities from Domina. I don't have any money, or any extra supplies heh, and I've farmed out every system before t...

Tip of the hat...
Haven't been around here in a while! I'm currently replaying Transcendence, thought I'd say hello...
I was looking for one thing though - wasn't there a thread that logged Transcendence related web sites? If it's gone or I'm simply delusional, I think we should make one (sticky of course).

Stuck..... again!
Ok, and this time I need a solution. I went through more or less the whole game slowly as hell, so I wouldn't die, I wanted to get a leet score. Now, I went back to the battle arena, and I'm stuck in the wall!
How do I get out!

Well, for the Commonwealth you could have the Centurion, Ronin and...Tripoli? The Ares can have Sandstorm, Cometfall and the Polar. Awesome. The Tripoli.... is the first sighting of that in the Maximus Arena? Edit: Oh, are those ships all roughly the same size? Superfreighters/gunships (referred to...

Cool - I need eight ships to work with. What eight ships would you use? I don't think that freighters are going to be a part of this game, (it would be difficult to implement), but I think both the Sap. Yacht and the Wolfen Gunship will be in the game. Out of eight ships, Independent? -- 1. Saph. Ya...

Great, consent was the first thing I was looking for, though I'd need - if nothing else - user input, because I haven't played Transcendence as obsessively as some of the others. Let me break this down. In Continuum, there are 8 ships. It's a low number to work with, but there's plenty we can do wit...

Re: wine and transcendence
SparcMan is correct; the only substantial hitch is that the program he links to has the same problem as the main Transcendence program, and can't access the database to extract the files under Wine. So run it under Windows (if you're the dual-booting type) and then move the files to whatever Linux ...

Transcendence Online via Continuum
It would be very easy (about a week's worth of work) to produce an online version of Transcendence. First, let me elaborate on what Continuum is. Continuum is actually the name of the client used to play the game Subspace, originally created by VIE in ~1996, for this discussion, you can refer to the...
